Building & Grounds

Although the Buildings and Grounds committee and other volunteers see to landscape, maintenance, and custodial issues, it is really about people whose ministries include the stewardship of sacred spaces so that our grounds and facilities can best serve and support the mission statement of the church and provide a clean, attractive, welcoming, and safe environment for worship, study, fellowship, and outreach to others. Besides the service of individuals, parish work days are sponsored during the year to draw in members of the congregation to give together time and talent for church beautification projects. Newcomers to St. John's find this an easy way to get to know others. Some church members think of this as a form of prayer.
