Parish Life
At St. John's we believe that God is calling us forward and beckoning us to create and seize opportunities that bring about God's purposes of Shalom, a biblical word for health and wholeness.
Throughout our parish life we bring people into meaningful relationships in the context of God's love. In small groups we share the bonds of spiritual intimacy and companionship, in tending to our church lawn and gardens we glorify God's creation, in offering prayer shawls to those in pain or illness we offer God's healing embrace.
We live in trust that God blesses us in our daily lives through joy and sorrow and calls us to be a blessing for another.
